How to Tweeze your Eye Brows at Home

We all would love to occasionally visit beauty spas to treat ourselves but it seems like nowadays prices are escalating and or sometimes we tend to be broke and can’t even pay for our tweezing treats. Behold my beauty people there is still hope. Let’s look at how you can tweeze and shape your own eye lashes at home.

  1. Collect all your utensils: tweezer, brown liner, brow gel, aloe Vera and white liner.

  2. Cleanse your skin with a cleanser of your choice and rinse with warm water because plucking your brows immediately after washing your face will make it easier as your skin will be soft.

  3. Apply lotion to your eye brows to make them even softer.

  4. If it seems like it’s going to be painful use any available baby teething gel on your brows, where you plan on tweezing of course to make yourself a little numb.

  5. Use a clean tooth brush or any soft hair brush to brush up and out your brows.

  6. Make sure you are in a room with lots of light and have a good mirror.

  7. Get a good pair of tweezers. One which is fine-tipped and clean so as to lessen the process of plucking time and of course unnecessary pain.

  8. Place the tip of your tweezer next to the hair root of the hair you are about to pluck.

  9. Tweeze the hair in the direction they grow making sure you grasp a single hair at a time.

  10. You can start at the arch first, then above the brow and clean up in between the brows.

  11. To find your eye brow, take a long eye brow pencil and hold it parallel to the side of your nose. Where it meets your brow is where your brow should.

  12. When you are finished plucking, you can apply Aloe Vera gel to reduce the redness and swelling if any. If you don’t have Aloe Vera you can always use ice.

  13. Keep on cleaning the oils on your tweezers using alcohol so as to prevent.

  14. Use brown liner to add shape and fill in the spaces if any. Don’t press

Soften the effects with your finger tips.

  15. You can use a small trimming scissors to cut the messy and uneven hairs if needed.

  16. If you are satisfied with the shape, use a brow gel or a dab of hair spray on your finger to keep your eye brows from being messy and keep them in place and then comb them nicely.
