  1. Lemon 




  • Citric acid found in the lemon clears the skin and removes dead cells.

  • Vitamin C reduces the dark spots and has antioxidants that reduces redness of the skin.

  • Vitamin C can reduce wrinkles by making the skin elasticity.

  • Lemons have a bleaching effect for a nice complexion.






  • Take a fresh lemon slice and gently squeeze its juice onto

    your face and neck.

  • Make sure you let it stay on your skin for at least 10 minutes.

  • Wash off the lemon with lukewarm water.

  • Apply onto your skin a moisturizer of your choice.

  • Repeat every other day.



  1. Honey and Lemon



  • Take 1/2 a lemon and squeeze the juice out.

  • Mix the squeezed juice with 2 tablespoons of honey.

  • Apply onto your face and leave it on for 15 minutes.

  • Rinse off with luke warm water, pat dry and then moisturize.

  • Repeat at least once a week.



  1. Aloe Vera



  • Aloe Vera has antibacterial properties that help kill bacteria.

  • Aloe can soothe irritated skin and broken skin and

  • It moisturizes the skin.

  • It stimulates new skin cell growth.







  • Take the aloe Vera leaf from the tree and scrape off the gel.

  • Apply the gel onto your face.

  • Let it dry off and  leave it on for 30 minutes.

  • Rinse it off with lukewarm water, pat your face dry and moisturize.

  • Repeat daily if you can.




  1. Yogurt/Milk




– Dairy in the yogurt soothes and moisturizes the skin.

– It reduces skin irritation and redness.

– The lactic acid in the yogurt has bleaching properties for glowing




  • Mix 1 tablespoon of milk or yogurt with honey or lemon.

  • Apply the paste onto your face and let it dry.

  • Leave it on for about 15 minutes.

  • Rinse off with luke warm water, pat dry and moisturize.

  • You can repeat this daily or twice a week.

  • Antioxidants found in green tea act as antibacterial agent.

  • The antioxidants can reduce acne.

  • They cleanse the skin.

  • Green tea is good for a great complexion.

  • Drinking it daily is not only great for skin but for overall health.

  • Drink at least 1 cup of green tea without milk or sugar.

  • Sweeten it with honey for a good taste.


  1. Water


Drinking at least 8 glasses of water hydrates the skin and gets rid of toxins leaving  smooth and radiant.
